Police officers threatened with "meat cleaver" in Blackwater

A teenager has been arrested for threatening police officers with a "meat cleaver" in Blackwater.

Hampshire Police say they were called to Ryecroft Gardens early on Tuesday morning (August 29).

It followed reports of a concern for the welfare of a male.

Unarmed officers attended and arrested a 17-year-old male on suspicion of possession of a bladed article.

He was taken to hospital with minor injuries and was later re-arrested.
