This year sees Woking celebrate their 25th year and will be racing on February 28th. This being, we decided to make our fancy dress theme 'SILVER'.
It is easy to register, just give them a phone call (01483 776612, ask for Paula) and we will send out a Pancake Race envelope.
All welcome to join what promises to be a fun event so come on down and join Lewis Mason and the Love Crew to celebrate Pancake Day 2016.
Teams of 4 are required and we ask that fund raising is done on our behalf. Fancy Dress is optional but there is a prize for best costume! Prizes also for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places and the Mascot Race.
Try Bev's Pancake Recipe
- 100g plain flour
- 200 ml milk
- 2 eggs
- Pinch of salt
- Butter or oil
Mix the eggs, flour and salt and gradually add milk.
Melt butter or vegetable oil in the pan and get the pan really hot.
Pour in some pancake mixture, after a couple of minutes it should be turning golden, shuffle the pancake around in the pan and get ready to…FLIP!
The second side shouldn’t take long at all.
Ease it on to a plate, choose your favourite topping and enjoy!
