Eagle Radio and DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting)

We often get asked when Eagle will be available on Digital radio. We hope the points below help to answer that question

1) Eagle is currently unavailable on Digital. This is because, at present, there is no digital licence to broadcast to this area. (Radio stations you can currently hear are either part of a national licence or other area licences (eg. London)

2) We have a licence to broadcast Eagle and County on DAB digital radio, but the Government is conducting a review into the future of radio and all new digital radio multiplexes (in effect transmitters) have been put on hold until the review is published.

3) If you don't have DAB, don't worry as Eagle Radio will remain on FM for plenty of years to come yet
