Eagle Radio and DAB (Digital Audio Broadcasting)

We often get asked when Eagle will be available on DAB. We hope the points below help to answer that question

• Eagle is currently unavailable on DAB radio.
• We have joint ownership of a licence to broadcast Eagle Radio on DAB radio, but the radio regulator, Ofcom,  is conducting a coverage review and all new digital radio multiplexes (in effect transmitters) have been put on hold until the review is published. (Due Spring/Summer 2011)
• If you don't have DAB, don't worry as Eagle Radio is currently remaining on FM.  Eagle’s parent company, UKRD, has been involved in encouraging a “multi platform” approach to the future of radio broadcasting incorporating, amongst others, FM and DAB delivery.
