(Updated 1:22pm 11th January 2017)

Police are not 'a-moo-zed' after finding a stolen cow sculpture at a Surrey home.

Cycling Moo Kay, the artistic fibre glass sculpture disappeared back in August - now Police say they have recovered her.

The sculpture was on display on Box Hill when it was taken overnight between Thursday, August 18 and Friday, August 19.

This morning (Wednesday January 11) officers from the Mole Valley Policing Team executed a search warrant at a property in Newdigate, and recovered the stolen cow.

The artist who painted it, Charlie Rowbotham, is said to be delighted.

Cycling Moo Kay is being returned to the organisers of Cow Parade Surrey.

The other cows in last year’s parade were auctioned at Hampton Court in November and the money raised shared between 52 different charities.

A man in his 40s has been arrested on suspicion of theft and is currently in police custody.
