
From Monday 25th June until Friday 6th July 2012 we took Eagle Radio out on the road, broadcasting each weekday from 6am til 8pm from various locations in Surrey and Hampshire!

Eagle Radio Trust is a registered charity set up three years ago by staff members at Eagle Radio. The Trust aims to support people who live & work in our area by providing grants to individuals, smaller local charities and Community Groups.
This year, Love Tour grants of £250 each day have been awarded to:
Week One
Monday 25th June - Guildford Grove Primary School - grant of £250 to purchase an industrial toaster & other appliances to support facilities at the School`s Breakfast Club.
Tuesday 26th June - Woking Community Furniture project has been selected to receive our Woking day grant of £250 to help purchase products & tools to help refurbish donated furniture.
Wednesday 27th June - Farnham Youth Choir receive a grant of £250 to support their travel costs in competing at the world Choir Olympics.
Thursday 28th June - Farnborough Food Bank has been selected to receive our Farnborough day grant of £250 to purchase food to support local families in financial need.
Friday-29th June - Haslemere Educational Museum has been selected to receive our Haslemere day grant of £250 to invest in new hands-on interactive experiences for visitors.
Saturday 30th June - 3rd Sandhurst Scout Group receive £250 to support restoration of scout hut including fixing a leaking roof and improving the acoustics .
Sunday 1st July - Camberley Youth Wind Orchestra to receive £250 to purchase some printed banners to display during their play-outs at local events.
Week 2
Monday 2nd July - The Ash branch of Projects for Lone Parents has been selected to receive our Aldershot day grant of £250 to help support social activities organised by the group.
Tuesday 3rd July – The appeal for two-year old Sophie Roberts from Church Crookham who requires life-saving treatment in her battle against liver and lung cancer has been selected to receive Our Fleet day grant of £250.
Wednesday 4th July- The Sayers Croft Trust receives our £250. Cranleigh day grant to support conservation projects for the community-led project including the purchase of bee boxes & wild flowers.
Thursday 5th July- The Explore and Discover Group are the beneficiaries of the Godalming day Eagle Trust Grant. The £250 will help support trips for adults with Learning difficulties.
Friday 6th July – The final Love Tour grant of £250 has been awarded to the Royal Surrey Parents Fund who are raising money for The Royal Surrey Special Care Baby Unit. The grant will contribute towards the Group`s broader fundraising for the baby unit`s facilities.
