Eagle Radio is launching a programme which aims to recognise the successes of our local community. We will do so by shining the spotlight, shouting their praise and celebrating their outstanding achievements ultimately with an award ceremony.

But first, we need our heroes. We believe they come in all shapes & sizes and we need to hear from you.

We need to know about your Colleagues, Neighbours, Friends & Family and how they make a difference - we want to share your stories of bravery, compassion, loyalty and friendship.

We also want to shout about the Companies in Surrey and Hampshire that support their Local Community & look after their staff.

Tell us about the People in your Town, your Village & your Street that make a difference, your Local Heroes.

We particularly invite nominations for this category for people who have achieved through overcoming adversity in their lives.

This category is open to individuals and groups of all ages and nominees are invited from music, dance and speech.

Open to adults, children , services personnel or veterans, this award is for anyone who has inspired others through bravery.

Award nominations are particularly welcome for people who put something back into the road, Estate or Village where they live.

Nominations accepted for absolutely any sports Team of any age and any ability who deserve recognition.

Nominations particularly welcome for those that quietly work in supporting-roles within Charity and Community initiatives.

An individual, community group, school or company that has contributed, championed or led a conservation project impacting the local area.

This award is open to registered charities, non-profit making groups, local appeals for specific projects and individuals or group of people who contributed towards such a group.
