The Dog and Pheasant

The Dog and Pheasant has recently been restored to bring the pub back to its former glory. The once popular upstairs restaurant/function room has been re-opened and the inside of this historic Inn has been given a traditional facelift to re-deliver the pub to the centre of Brook community life. Real ales available include Timothy Taylors Landlord and Harveys Sussex Best. A comprehensive wine list complements a traditional menu, specialising in locally reared meat and fantastic seafood. Sunday Roasts are a must for country pubs, and visitors will be treated to a fine selection served from 12 noon to 8pm. The entire garden has been fully opened up and the views across the surrounding fields and hills are breathtaking.

The Dog and Pheasant is now open all day, with lunch served from 12-2.30pm and dinner from 6-9.30pm during the week, all day on Saturdays and between 12 noon and 8pm on Sundays. We look forward to welcoming you to our historic country pub.
