The British Red Cross helps vulnerable people in crisis whoever and wherever they are, in the UK and across the World. In 2007 we directly helped in excess of 30,000 people across the Surrey, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and trained in excess of 45,000 people in essential life saving skills. Demands for our services are growing and Dressing in Red for the day is one way everyone can help to make a difference to the lives of those facing crisis. Lets Dress Surrey in Red!

Endurance Team Karting

Information: You know you can do better than the Grand Prix drivers - now you have the chance to prove it whilst benefiting ChildLine, the only free telephone helpline for children in danger or distress. Teams: comprising of 6 drivers, male or female, over the age of 14. This is a sponsored event and every penny raised going directly to ChildLine. Your help is needed to raise funds that will enable ChildLine to answer more of the 4,500 calls received every day. The evening starts with driver briefing followed by a practicve session to get used to the karts & the track. This is followed by 2hrs of non-stop team racing including driver changes & pit stops. Safety clothing is provided for all drivers. All members of the top 3 teams will receive trophies, the winners being the team completing the most laps in the allocated time. Come and enjoy an evening of motorsport, bring your family & friends to cheer you on & help you raise lots of much needed money for ChildLine.

Beacon Hill football tournament

Now into it's second decade it brings together teams mainly from across the area, Which include sides from Petersfield, Milford, Haslemere, Grayshott, Headly, Liphook, Ewhurst, along with hosts they compete in the under 7-11 age groups. With nearly all the games being a local Derby's it gives the games an added edge, but with the tournament renowned for its friendliness the matches are always played in good spirit. The event is a fund raiser for BHJFC for the upkeep of grounds,equipment and also to keep membership fee's as low as possible.The day starts with the car park at the Hindhead playing fields off the Tilford road opening at 0830hrs with the first game kicking off at 10.00hrs. During the day the refreshment stand, BBQ, and ice cream van, Along with bar and side stalls will keep all the players and spectator's well fed and watered.The day comes to a closes for the tired teams as each age group finishes with the crowning of the smiling new champion's. So why not come along and cheer on your local team or even just have fun day out seeing how good our local kids football is.
