
Work Experience at Eagle Radio

At Eagle Radio we run a volunteer scholarship scheme called 'The Academy'.
If you would like to apply for a place then please read our strict criteria below.
YOU MUST:
be 18 years old or over / Perform a satisfactory interview / Hold a full driving licence / Are studying a recognised media/journalist course, or aiming to find permanent work in radio having experience already in hospital or student radio / Live in or near the catchment area
The Opportunities:
All Academy Students must be able to spend one early morning (6-10am) for a minimum of 9 months.
Eagle Academy - 5 x Production Places Available / 6-10am one day per week for The Peter Gordon Breakfast Show / Must have basic knowledge of Adobe Audition.
News Academy - Broadcast Journalism Course Students can apply for Work Experience to Head of News, Saffron da Silva here.

Other Opportunities:
The ACM Radio Broadcasting course, run in conjunction with 96.4 Eagle Radio, will give you an insight into the life of a radio presenter, producer and manager. You will be taught by industry professionals currently working in the radio industry, you may even hear them on your radio on the way home from your lecture!
